Job Description: Lead Enterprise Demand Planner at S&C Electric

Join S&C Electric as a Lead Enterprise Demand Planner and help shape the future of energy. You will oversee the optimization of customer demand forecasting using historical data, market trends, customer insights, and AI. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to improve forecast accuracy and support operational planning. Your role is crucial in predicting customer purchasing patterns to reduce supply chain variability and costs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Enterprise Demand Planning: Develop and maintain an enterprise-wide demand planning practice integrating advanced predictive modeling and AI to align commercial and operational goals.
2. Guidelines and Methodologies: Align external sales insights and market trends to enhance S&OP practices, including stakeholder accountability.
3. Technologies: Use analytics tools to assess supply trends and support AI and digital transformation initiatives, improving data accuracy and system integration.
4. Scenario Planning & Sensitivity Analysis: Create scenario-based forecasts to evaluate market impacts and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
5. Performance Measurement & Reporting: Establish KPIs for forecast accuracy, analyze results, and drive continuous improvements.
6. Market Intelligence Integration: Collaborate with sales and marketing to incorporate qualitative insights into demand forecasts.
7. Compliance and Attendance: Adhere to company policies, maintain punctuality, and participate in meetings as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Statistics, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in supply, demand, or production planning.
• APICS CPIM or ASCM CSCP certification preferred.
• Experience transforming enterprise demand planning, capacity planning, and risk management.
• Proficiency with Oracle ERP and understanding of industrial supply chain principles.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBS or Master’s in Supply Chain Management.
• Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• 5+ years in multi-site demand planning or analytics.
