Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst in Reston, VA to lead evaluation, optimization, and transformation of enterprise systems and workflows. In this lead role, you will partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to drive requirements lifecycles for complex initiatives and mentor junior analysts.

You'll guide cross-functional teams through UAT, define acceptance criteria, and design scalable future-state solutions while ensuring alignment with SDLC and Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Requires 8+ years of experience with BS/BA, or a High School diploma with 12 years of experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with a history of leading large-scale implementations.
• Proven experience defining UAT strategies, test scenarios, and leading cross-functional teams through validation.
• Deep expertise in SDLC, with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or hybrid project environments.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to influence stakeholders and articulate concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional requirements sessions for complex initiatives and translate goals into specs and roadmaps.
• Evaluate enterprise processes and architectures to identify gaps and design scalable future-state workflows.
• Oversee functional testing, define UAT strategies, and ensure deliverables match requirements.
• Establish best practices for documentation and mentor junior analysts.
