Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to lead evaluation, optimization, and transformation of our business systems and workflows. In this lead role, you will serve as a strategic partner and primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving the requirements lifecycle for complex initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have deep technical acumen, strong stakeholder management, and a proven track record delivering enterprise-level solutions.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience with BS/BA, or a High School diploma with 12 years of experience.
5+ years as a Business Systems Analyst leading large-scale or enterprise-level system implementations.
Experience defining UAT strategies, writing complex test scenarios, and leading cross-functional teams through validation and system sign-off.
Deep expertise in software development lifecycles (SDLC), with experience in Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or hybrid environments.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Strategic Requirements Leadership: Lead cross-functional requirements sessions; translate goals into functional specs, technical requirements, and roadmaps.
Process Transformation & Gap Analysis: Evaluate processes and architectures to identify gaps, redundancies, and inefficiencies; design scalable future-state workflows.
End-to-End Delivery & QA Oversight: Oversee functional testing and UAT strategies; ensure deliverables match business requirements.
Documentation Excellence & Mentorship: Establish best practices for documentation; mentor junior/mid-level analysts.
