Job summary

Samaritan's Purse seeks an Enterprise Applications Programmer to join the Information Technology team in Boone or North Wilkesboro, NC, or other approved on-site locations. You will lead the development and maintenance of enterprise systems, including PeopleSoft, while coordinating with analysts, programmers, and IT stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet business needs.

The role requires strong PeopleSoft skills, SDLC expertise, and the ability to manage a small team, define project scopes,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience with 10+ years in business systems.
• Extensive knowledge of enterprise apps and processes across HR, Finance, Logistics, Procurement.
• Strong SDLC, web services, APIs, integration, testing, documentation, and deployment.
• Proven PeopleSoft development and customization skills with relevant tools.
• Experience with databases and app servers such as Oracle, SQL Server, Tomcat, IIS.

Responsibilities

• Lead coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise apps.
• Coordinate testing, troubleshooting, and software support across IT teams.
• Define scope, schedules, requirements, and priorities for software projects.
• Design enterprise systems and recommend enhancements based on architecture.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for systems and applications.
• Mentor a small team of enterprise programmers and collaborate with stakeholders.
