Job summary

Parts Town is seeking a Senior AI Platform Architect to own enterprise AI architecture, standards, and technical direction across platforms, models, agents, and integrations. This role combines hands-on delivery with leadership to shape a scalable, secure AI ecosystem aligned with business goals.

You will design agentic capabilities, guide PoC through deployment, and partner with data, security, and business teams to build reliable AI workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years shaping enterprise architecture, software engineering, or platform engineering at scale.
• Hands-on experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade AI solutions and intelligent agent ecosystems.
• Deep expertise in agentic AI, MCP, function calling, tool orchestration, and context management strategies.
• Strong knowledge of RAG, LLMs, semantic search, AI evaluation, monitoring, and responsible AI practices.
• Versatile developer with proficiency in Python, Java, and TypeScript.
• Experience with modern frameworks (React, Rails, Spring, or equivalents).
• Proven track record architecting microservices, APIs, and enterprise integration with cloud delivery.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise AI platform architecture, standards, and guardrails aligned with technology strategy.
• Establish reference architectures, tooling, and reusable patterns for agents, retrieval, and orchestration.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and governance approaches for adoption.
• Translate business needs into production-ready AI solutions including agents, assistants, and workflows.
• Design agentic capabilities using function calling, MCP, and model orchestration.
• Guide teams from PoC to deployment and operations.
• Architect integrations between AI platforms and enterprise systems.
• Align AI with governed data, ensuring quality and meaning.
• Define monitoring, observability, and reliability standards for the platform.
• Lead architecture reviews and mentor engineers and architects.
