Naval Nuclear Laboratory Bettis Site is seeking a Principal Lead Engineer to drive the establishment of new RPI&C Composite Test Facilities. You will lead end-to-end design, development, construction, qualification and release of facilities essential to NR program deliverables.

The role requires coordinating across the BID unit and partner organizations on site and off site, serving as a technical leader to align engineering, project management, and customer expectations while advancing test

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree with 9+ years of relevant experience, or Masters with 7+ years, or Doctorate with 3+ years.
• Current Principal Reactor Training Engineer, Refueling Engineer, or Field (RPCO) Engineer at the Company.
• Experience with safety and shipboard instrumentation and control systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, development, construction, qualification and release of RPI&C Composite Test Facilities.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary work across the BID unit and partner organizations on site and off site.
• Serve as technical leader and integrator, aligning engineering, project management, and customers.
• Oversee system and infrastructure design, project planning, scheduling and cost control.
