Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory at Bettis is seeking an entry-level Technician to support RPI&C test systems and laboratory infrastructure. You will perform routine lab tasks, assist with testing and maintenance, and calibrate equipment under supervision.

You will gain hands-on experience in electrical work and control systems while collaborating with a dedicated team to meet program requirements and safety standards. Formal training and a supportive work environment are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of relevant experience, or an Associates degree in a related field, or Journeyman Papers, or Naval Nuclear Propulsion Operator qualification.

Responsibilities

• Execute common laboratory functions including support of testing and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate and perform periodic facility tests and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain and modernize lab test systems and test articles.
• Ensure work packages are performed safely and in compliance with requirements; calibrate test equipment and manage inventories.
