Naval Nuclear Laboratory seeks a Lead Engineer for Bettis Site Composite Test Facilities Infrastructure to drive end-to-end design, development, and deployment of test facilities. You will coordinate across the BID unit and partner organizations, acting as a technical leader and central integrator among engineering, project management, and customers.

The role emphasizes system-level thinking, hands-on test infrastructure, and quality control, shaping new facilities from concept through operation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field with 9+ years experience; or Master's with 7+; or Doctorate with 3+ years; or current equivalent principal roles.
• Current Principal Reactor Training Engineer, Refueling Engineer, or RPCO Engineer at the company.
• Preferred NR Program RPI&C experience.
• Experience leading cross-organizational projects and managing shipboard I&C systems.
• Ability to build strong relationships across Program personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, development, construction, qualification, and release of RPI&C Composite Test Facilities.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary work across the BID unit and partner organizations on site and off site.
• Serve as technical leader and integrator aligning engineering teams, project management, and customers.
