Job summary

Linxon in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Solutions Project Engineer to help design and deliver power infrastructure projects across the Americas. You will engineer substations, BESS, solar and rail electrification systems from 11kV to 765kV, coordinating with project teams to produce robust, constructible designs.

You should hold a bachelor’s in electrical engineering with 3–5 years of experience (or a master’s with 2–3 years) and may pursue PE certification.

Qualifications

• Proficient in CAD tools such as AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• MS Office Suite for documentation and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate technical specifications and material schedules for procurement.
• Execute primary designs including grounding, lightning, steel, transformers, switchgear, cabling, and BOQs.
• Drive design and standardization reviews to improve consistency and tender prep.
• Support Tender Managers with precise technical data to strengthen bids.
• Prepare tender proposals that meet client requirements and are cost-efficient.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure fully coordinated solutions across disciplines.
• Capture lessons learned from site and commissioning to strengthen future tenders.
• Coordinate with suppliers to confirm technical alignment and feasibility.
• Work with project management to keep bids on track and on time.
• Review and approve tender documents to ensure quality.
