Black & Veatch Corporation in Overland Park, KS is seeking an Industrial Water Mechanical Building Lead Engineer to drive technical leadership across multi-discipline teams on medium to high complexity projects.

You will develop engineering standards, guide design decisions, and ensure quality through BV's processes while coordinating with clients and internal stakeholders across locations nationwide. The role emphasizes ownership, safety, and delivering durable infrastructure solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 11 years related work experience.
• Active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR).
• Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, MVR).

Responsabilidades

• Proactively provides guidance on department design guides, standards, and BV policies; may own or develop engineering standards.
• Apply BV quality program and support continuous improvement, change management, and risk management.
• Prepare complex engineering deliverables for multiple or mega projects and oversee data management for engineering work.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams on complex projects and define project schedules for single or multiple disciplines.
