Job summary

GE Vernova's Gas Power Technology Compliance organization seeks a Lead Engineer to drive regulatory compliance for heavy-duty and aero-derivative gas power projects in the AMERICAS region. You will collaborate across functions to ensure technical compliance of products and services, interfacing with agencies to obtain certifications.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, 5+ years in design, and 2+ years with IEC/EU/Americas standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science from an accredited college or university (Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical or Computer Science & Electrical Engineer preferred).
• 5+ years' experience in engineering design.
• 2+ years of working experience with IEC, EU Directives & Americas Codes & Standards (Haz areas, Electrical Safety, EMC, Machinery, Pressure Equipment, Building Code).

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory compliance for Power Generation assets (GT, GEN, ST, BOP), specializing in key TRS categories such as Pressure Equipment, Environmental, and Explosive Atmospheres.
• Interface with external agencies and government bodies to secure international and regional certifications.
• Manage the quality, schedule, and cost of compliance activities, ensuring proactive communication of risks and status.
