Job summary

GE Vernova in Greenville, SC seeks a Lead Engineer to drive global TRS compliance for Heavy Duty and Aero Derivative gas power projects in the AMERICAS. You will lead regulatory assessments, develop technical compliance plans, and coordinate with external agencies to secure international certifications.

The role partners with Manufacturing, Design and Field teams to resolve issues, manages scope, schedule and cost of compliance activities, and champions GE safety, Lean, and PLM objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science from an accredited college or university or equivalent (Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical or Computer Science & Electrical Engineer preferred).
• 5+ years' experience in engineering design.
• 2+ years of working experience with IEC, EU Directives & Americas Codes & Standards (Haz areas, Electrical Safety, EMC, Machinery, Pressure Equipment, Building Code).

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory compliance for Power Generation assets (GT, GEN, ST, BOP), specializing in key TRS categories such as Pressure Equipment, Environmental, and Explosive Atmospheres.
• Conduct assessments, develop technical compliance plans, and act as a subject matter expert to provide data-driven recommendations.
• Interface with external agencies and government bodies to secure international and regional certifications.
