Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Clyde, Ohio is seeking a Lead Engineer, Senior Analyst, Engineering to join our onsite team. You will lead kaizen projects and drive productivity improvements in the Stainless Steel Basket department, collaborating with maintenance, setup teams and external vendors.

You will own equipment, manage capital projects, apply World Class Manufacturing methods, perform root-cause analyses, and support safety, quality, and cost metrics across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience required.
• WCM experience and Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
• Desirable: laser welding processes and Basket Transformation knowledge.
• Strong communication and project management skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead projects through all phases (Plan, Do, Check, Act).
• Support day-to-day production to meet plant/department metrics (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost).
• Own existing equipment and future equipment entering the department.
• Lead capital projects aligned with Clyde operations long-term strategy.
• Lead continuous improvement using WCM methodology with specific targets.
• Perform root cause analysis to eliminate losses and drive solutions.
• Collaborate with design, industrial engineering and other functions to implement changes.
• Coordinate prototype builds and evaluate concepts through testing.
