The successful candidate will work within the Stainless Steel Basket department as a part of a team responsible for executing productivity projects, process improvement projects and using advanced tools to solve complex problems. The successful candidate will interact with Maintenance, lead Engineering Technicians and Setup, as well as outside vendors to support kaizen work. He or she will also create purchase orders for components. Assist in scheduling, tracking, auditing AM and PM work. Some weekend work may be necessary.## **Your responsibilities will include*** Supporting and working projects through all project phases (P,D,C,A)* Support production day to day to achieve plant/department metrics in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People Development using Whirlpools Leadership Model* Complete ownership of existing equipment and future equipment entering the Department* Develop creative solutions and lead capital projects that support the long term strategy of the Clyde operation.* Lead continuous improvement activities utilizing the WCM (World Class Manufacturing) methodology in support of plant/department metrics.
