Job summary

Allstate is seeking a highly technical Lead Engineer, Authentication Engineering to lead the design, implementation, and advancement of enterprise authentication platforms. Multiple Managing Engineers will report to this role, and you will partner with Product Management, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Application teams, and AI initiatives to deliver secure, scalable authentication capabilities.

Qualifications

10+ years of IT or engineering experience with authentication, identity or security engineering responsibilities.
3+ years of management experience.
Experience leading enterprise large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

Partner with Authentication Lead Product Manager to create strategy, roadmaps and implementation.
Lead the architecture and engineering of enterprise authentication solutions.
Design, implement and modernize MFA, PKI, SSO, and vaulting to enable Zero Trust.
Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code with test-driven development.
Lead large-scale migrations and technology transformations.
Collaborate with security, cloud, and AI teams to deliver scalable authentication services.
Provide technical leadership and coaching to engineers and reviews.
