Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Lead Engineer to join our Operations team, overseeing mission-critical data center facilities. You will work in a 24/7 environment, performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs to support customers’ infrastructure and uptime.

The role requires strong HVAC, mechanical, and electrical skills, and a willingness to work 2nd/3rd shifts with weekend coverage. Join a team focused on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; data center experience preferred.
• Trade license or certification acquired through technical education/training.
• Facilities maintenance certification is desirable.
• Experience with mission critical data equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect building infrastructure systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, and other building systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all building equipment.
• Assemble and commission Data Center equipment.
• Prepare Change Management Forms and Methods of Procedure (MOPs).
• Schedule maintenance procedures with vendors.
• Ensure safety procedures and use of protective equipment.
• Respond to emergency situations and customer concerns as needed.
