Job summary

Meta is seeking a skilled Energy Portfolio Manager to oversee a portfolio of clean and renewable energy contracts, including carbon-related agreements. You will negotiate amendments, monitor performance, and ensure contract compliance across development and operation phases.

You'll collaborate with legal, finance, and procurement teams, analyze energy data, and drive risk reporting while optimizing workflows using AI-enabled approaches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in clean energy contract management or related operations.
• Experience with renewable energy contracts and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with data interpretation of energy generation data and market data.
• Experience drafting official correspondence and building supplier relationships.
• Experience with CLM systems and contract lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the ongoing owner for Meta's clean energy and carbon credit requirements.
• Create and maintain documents and data related to energy contracts.
• Track counterparty compliance with contract milestones and deliverables.
• Respond to inquiries and manage amendments, collateral, and force majeure issues.
• Surface and resolve issues in contracts and project operations.
• Track and analyze energy project performance (operational and financial).
• Track project progress through development and construction milestones.
• Lead risk reporting against schedule and forecast.
• Manage approval and signature process for documents post-execution.
• Support invoicing and reporting to ensure terms align with contracts.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, accounting, purchasing and other stakeholders.
