Job summary

Meta is seeking an Energy Portfolio Manager to own clean energy contracts and carbon credit requirements, including amendments and compliance. You will monitor project development, performance, and reporting on financial/operational metrics while coordinating with legal, finance, and procurement teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5+ years in clean energy contract management or energy project operations.
• Experience with renewable energy contracts (wind/solar).
• Experience drafting official correspondence and maintaining supplier partnerships.
• Experience building cross-functional relationships and interpreting energy data.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the ongoing owner for all of Meta's clean energy and carbon credit requirements.
• Create, maintain, update documents and data related to clean and renewable energy contracts.
• Track counterparty compliance with contract milestones and deliverables.
• Manage contract amendments, collateral, force majeure claims, and other issues.
• Surface and resolve issues in contracts and project operations.
• Track and analyze energy project performance (operational and financial).
• Track development and construction milestones and lead risk reporting.
• Oversee approval and signature for contract documents after execution.
• Support invoicing/reporting to ensure RECs and costs align with terms.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, accounting, purchasing, and other stakeholders.
