Job summary

Cataldo Ambulance Service, Inc. seeks a BLS Lead Instructor who is an EMT and an authorized instructor to teach, evaluate and mentor EMS students while upholding OEMS standards.

This role covers initial certification classes and resuscitation training including CPR/ACLS/PALS under AHA guidelines. Responsibilities include leading orientation, delivering hands-on labs, administering exams, tracking student progress, CME for certified EMTs, and maintaining accurate records with professional conduct

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of BLS care experience within last 10 years.
• Familiarity with EMS education standards.
• Ability to lead and mentor students in classroom and labs.
• Proficiency with computer systems including web-based applications and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate CEC Orientation Programs for new employees.
• Deliver EMS lesson plans including BLS/BCLS.
• Lead hands-on skills labs and simulations.
• Administer exams and maintain student records.
• Monitor student progress and provide CME.
• Mentor students in classroom and clinical settings.
• Report student progress to CEC leadership.
• Attend faculty meetings and trainings.
