Job summary

Superior Ambulance Service in Elmhurst, IL is seeking an EMS Lead Instructor to join the Education team. The role involves planning, scheduling, and teaching EMT classes, and coordinating guest speakers for the program.

You will maintain required records, manage EMT program supplies, and participate in program reviews along with AHA/NAEMT course offerings. A valid IL EMT/Paramedic license and Lead Instructor license are required.

Qualifications

• Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and an active Illinois EMT/Paramedic license.
• Lead Instructor license in Illinois is required to teach EMT/Paramedic courses.
• Ability to demonstrate, teach, and lead all EMT/Paramedic aspects; CPR certification within 2 months.

Responsibilities

• Teaches all aspects of EMT courses, including didactic and practical skill sets.
• Maintains records, forms, waivers, and required documentation for EMT programs.
• Manages inventory, ordering, and receipt of EMT program supplies.
• Supports instructor development and program reviews.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
