As Lead Emergency Veterinarian in Pittsburgh, you will mentor doctors, champion VEG processes, and ensure rapid access to veterinary care while fostering a supportive, learning-driven hospital culture.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of ER experience with critical case management.
• One year of leadership experience preferred.
• Training in emergency surgery/endoscopy.
• Willingness to lead and perform admin tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical shifts and drive diagnostic and therapeutic plans for emergency cases.
• Coach doctors on VEG Way and customer-focused care.
• Lead monthly doctor meetings and coordinate schedules two months in advance.
• Address customer medical concerns and ensure high patient care quality.
• Assist Medical Director during coverage gaps and schedule changes.
