Veterinary Emergency Group The PC is seeking a Lead Emergency Veterinarian to supervise clinical teams and champion VEG’s medical processes. You will mentor doctors, drive high-quality care, and ensure rapid access to veterinary physicians for every patient.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of ER experience and critical case management.
• One year leadership experience preferred.
• Training in emergency surgery/endoscopy.
• Willingness to lead and support fellow doctors, as well as perform admin tasks during off hours.
• Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Work clinical shifts as an emergency doctor responsible for patient triage and treatment.
• Answer medical questions over the phone and diagnose pets to create treatment plans.
• Communicate diagnoses and options directly with customers.
• Coach fellow doctors on VEG practices and patient-focused care.
• Create doctor schedules and manage leaves and postings.
• Lead monthly doctor meetings and M&M rounds with the MD.
