Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group leads high-visibility emergency care across our hospitals. As Lead Emergency Veterinarian, you’ll champion medical processes, mentor physicians, and ensure rapid, compassionate care for pets and owners.

You’ll drive clinical excellence, oversee team performance, and collaborate with the Medical Director to grow your hospital and staff, building impactful career paths for VEGgies.

Qualifications

• DVM, VMD, or equivalent degree.
• 2+ years ER experience and critical case management.
• One year leadership experience preferred.
• Flexible to work a combination of clinical and administrative shifts.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Work clinical shifts, with responsibilities like diagnosing and treating emergency patients.
• Coach doctors on VEG Way and customer-focused experience.
• Lead monthly doctor meetings and M&M rounds with the MD.
• Create and review medical records to ensure accuracy.
• Address customer concerns and provide clear treatment options.
