GP Strategies Government Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Emergency Preparedness Exercise Manager to lead the planning, design, development, coordination, and execution of emergency preparedness exercises supporting first responders and emergency management professionals from across the United States.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years as lead planner in emergency management exercise design and development.
• Master Exercise Practitioner Program (MEPP) completed.
• Experience planning, coordinating, and executing emergency preparedness exercises.
• Knowledge of emergency management principles, preparedness doctrine, and exercise methodologies.
• Experience facilitating collaboration among multiple stakeholders, agencies, and operational teams.
• Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, development, coordination, and execution of emergency preparedness exercises and training events.
• Develop realistic exercise scenarios that test and validate emergency response capabilities and operational readiness.
• Support exercises focused on Mass Casualty, Natural Disasters, CBRNE, and Terrorism preparation and response.
• Coordinate with instructors, emergency management professionals, government stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
• Manage exercise planning teams and facilitate planning meetings, workshops, and coordination sessions.
• Develop exercise objectives, scenarios, event documentation, participant materials, and evaluation criteria.
• Support tabletop, workshop, drill, functional, and full-scale exercises.
• Oversee exercise evaluation activities and after-action reports and improvement plans.
• Ensure exercises align with preparedness objectives and doctrine.
