GP Strategies Government Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Emergency Preparedness Exercise Manager to lead planning, design, and execution of national exercises for first responders and emergency management professionals.

This onsite role in Anniston, AL focuses on developing realistic scenarios and coordinating with multiple agencies. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in emergency management exercise design, MEPP completion, and strong project management and collaboration skills to drive

Qualifications

• Lead planner in emergency management exercise design with 3+ years of experience.
• Master Exercise Practitioner Program (MEPP) completed.
• Experience planning, coordinating, and executing emergency preparedness exercises.
• Knowledge of emergency management principles and doctrine.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, agencies, and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, development, coordination, and execution of emergency preparedness exercises and training events.
• Develop realistic exercise scenarios that test emergency response capabilities.
• Coordinate with instructors, government stakeholders, and subject matter experts to ensure successful exercise delivery.
• Manage exercise planning teams and facilitate planning meetings and coordination sessions.
• Develop exercise objectives, scenarios, event documentation, and evaluation criteria.
• Oversee exercise evaluation activities and after-action reports with improvement plans.
