GP Strategies Government Solutions in Anniston, AL is seeking an experienced Emergency Preparedness Exercise Manager to lead planning, design, and execution of emergency preparedness exercises for first responders and federal/state partners. The role focuses on developing scenarios and coordinating multi-agency efforts to enhance preparedness and response capabilities.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years as a lead planner in emergency exercise design, MEPP certification, and strong collaboration

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years as a lead planner in emergency management exercise design and development.
• Master Exercise Practitioner Program (MEPP) certification is required.
• Experience planning, coordinating, and executing emergency preparedness exercises.
• Knowledge of emergency management principles, preparedness doctrine, and exercise methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, development, coordination, and execution of emergency preparedness exercises and training events.
• Develop realistic exercise scenarios to test and validate emergency response capabilities.
• Coordinate with instructors, government stakeholders, and subject matter experts to ensure successful exercise delivery.
• Oversee exercise planning teams, conducting planning meetings and coordination sessions.
• Develop exercise objectives, scenarios, event documentation, and evaluation criteria.
• Support tabletop, drill, functional, and full-scale exercises and after-action reporting.
