The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Public Safety has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Emergency Management Coordinator 3. This role supports complex emergency preparedness activities and the development and maintenance of policies, plans and procedures for the emergency management program.

Responsibilities include leading training and drills, performing hazard analyses, creating campus emergency plans, maintaining disaster equipment, and liaising with local agencies to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required.
• Certification and Licensing: refer to department description for applicable certification requirements.

Responsabilités

• Develops and facilitates training programs and organizes drills for major emergencies and disasters.
• Conducts hazard/risk analysis to update the emergency response plan.
• Creates and manages campus and University emergency response and continuity plans.
• Maintains disaster equipment and ensures resources are accessible for rapid deployment.
• Acts as liaison to local fire and police personnel and other external parties.
• Provides oversight of campus emergency management programs.
• Adheres to University policies and safeguards assets.
