HTU seeks an experienced candidate to plan, coordinate, and manage emergency management activities to mitigate and respond to disasters. The role involves developing emergency plans, SOPs, and job aids, plus conducting drills to test procedures.

You will maintain relationships with University Health leadership and coordinate with UT Medicine, UT Health SA, local authorities, and area hospitals as needed. Public speaking is a plus for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience using computers, Microsoft Office software programs, and other web-related applications.
• Public speaking experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Planning, coordinating, and managing emergency management activities to mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from natural and man-made disasters.
• Developing, updating, and reviewing emergency plans, standard operating guidelines, and job aids.
• Conducting, participating in, and evaluating emergency management exercises and drills to test protocols and procedures.
• Maintaining professional relationships with University Health leadership.
• Serving as a liaison with UT Medicine, University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, City of San Antonio, Bexar County, and area hospitals as required.
• Participating as a member of the University Health Emergency Management Subcommittee to assist in planning, exercising, and implementing emergency preparedness and disaster planning.
• Promoting the University Health Customer Relation’s Policy.
