Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital in Connecticut seeks a Lead Emergency Room Tech to provide direct patient care in the ED and assist physicians and nurses. This full-time day-shift role partners with ED leadership to organize supplies, supervise equipment upkeep, and mentor ED staff.

Requirements include a High School diploma, English proficiency, and a current BLS CPR certification; CT EMT license preferred, MA/CNA with experience considered. Health benefits start day one.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CT licensed EMT preferred; will consider MA or CT CNA with experience.
• Experience in acute care ED settings is required.
• Must have current AHA BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead role with nurse manager to organize and order supplies.
• Oversee repair and maintenance of equipment.
• Educate and develop new and existing ED Techs.
• Report monthly to ED leadership on issues and concerns.
• Perform other duties as required.
