Job summary

Springfield Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) to support the nursing staff and assist in patient care under RN/Medic supervision. The role focuses on collaboration, adherence to ED policies, and maintaining a strong knowledge base in Emergency Patient Care.

Requirements include Vermont EMT-B or LNA license, high school diploma, BLS for Healthcare Providers, and a preference for five years of EMT-B or LNA experience.

Qualifications

• Current Vermont EMT-B or LNA license, or VT LNA license.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Five years' EMT-B or LNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with nursing staff to deliver patient care.
• Perform delegated tasks under RN/Medic supervision.
• Assist with patient care according to ED policies.
• Maintain knowledge base in Emergency Patient Care.
• Demonstrate ability to support ED team during crises.
• Perform tasks in established protocols approved by Springfield Hospital.
• Assist in registration of ED patients.
