Job summary

Thermo King Minneapolis seeks a Team Lead, Embedded Software to drive both people leadership and hands-on embedded controls development. You will mentor engineers and coordinate across hardware, software, validation, and systems teams to deliver high-quality products.

You will shape best practices for Linux/RTOS, own CI/CD integration, and contribute to strategic roadmaps while guiding engineers and coordinating cross-functional activities across hardware, software, and validation teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science required.
At least 7 years’ experience in controls, electronics, systems, or software engineering.
At least 2 years’ experience leadership in either people or technical management.

Responsibilities

People management: manage direct reports, mentor and supervise, ensure tools and training, evaluate performance.
Technical contribution: develop and implement standards for embedded software on Linux/RTOS, drive CI/CD and interfaces.
Strategic planning: assist in planning and road-mapping, advise on training needs and resource allocation.
