Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in embedded software and systems development.
• 2+ years of experience leading technical projects or engineering teams.
• Strong experience with C/C++ programming and MCU development.
• Hands-on experience with PIC and ARM microcontrollers.
• Familiarity with SPI, I2C, RS232, USB, and TCP/IP communications.
• Experience with RTOS environments (FreeRTOS or embedded Linux).
• Agile/Scrum development experience; Scrum Master a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead software engineering projects and mentor engineers to foster a high-performing team.
• Develop and improve software development, testing, release, and deployment processes for embedded systems.
• Define software architecture and requirements in collaboration with Engineering and Product teams.
• Design, develop, test, and debug embedded software for prototype and production systems.
• Develop software for systems with microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, and user interfaces.
• Conduct reviews, requirements analysis, risk assessments, and reliability analyses.
• Develop and implement software testing and quality assurance practices.
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams for new product development and launches.
• Create software specifications, PoCs, technical docs, and project reports.
• Mentor engineers on coding standards, testing, and documentation.
