Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree in EE/CE or related field.
• Experience in product development in heavy equipment or automotive sectors.
• Proficiency with Atlassian Bitbucket/Jira and CI pipelines.
• Strong C/C++, Python, or MATLAB/Simulink for motion control.
• Experience with servo drives, encoders, actuators; EtherCAT/CAN/Modbus knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Mentor software engineers specializing in programmable hardware and displays for automation projects.
• Lead full software development lifecycle from requirements to testing and commissioning.
• Collaborate with vehicle systems experts, electrical engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and integrate systems.
• Define and own software development lifecycle infrastructure for automation projects, including branching and release governance.
• Develop and maintain project plans; monitor progress and manage risks.
