Job summary

Job Role: Embedded Software Engineer - Lead

Job Location: Cedar Rapids, IA

Job Description:

• Participate on collaborative, cross-disciplined integrated product teams, often employing agile software development techniques.
• Responsible for the full lifecycle of product development, from architecture and design, through integration, test.
• Experience in Software Engineering to include experience working various phases of the software development lifecycle
• Experience with Software Development Using C++, Ada95.
• Experience with Devops and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Requirements management tools like JAMA, Polarion
• Experience with embedded programming, processor/board architecture and design.
• Experience with certification aspects of the safety critical systems per DO178 Guidelines in order to successfully certify the product.
• Coordinates and communicates with direct team members, technical project managers, systems engineers and product managers.
• Understands and follows processes, is always learning and continuously looks for improvements.
• Able to learn new programming languages and technologies quickly.
