Job summary

STR is seeking a Lead Embedded Software Engineer to develop real-time radar processing software and embedded DSP for multi-function systems. You will lead design and implementation across the complete signal processing chain, collaborating with researchers and engineers to deliver high-performance radar solutions.

The role requires expertise in C++ (C++17+), real-time DSP, and radar system knowledge, with leadership experience guiding multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing real-time signal processing in C++ (C++17+).
• Radar/EW knowledge and systems engineering experience.
• Ability to lead project teams and coordinate multi-disciplinary efforts.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of radar/EW systems with DSP implementations.
• Architect and implement embedded software for multi-function, deliverable systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to derive system requirements.
• Research, evaluate and drive new embedded software approaches and roadmaps.
• Prepare documentation, test plans and reports.
• Communicate project updates to teams and stakeholders.
