Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Lead Test Engineer to join our Moon Township, PA team in a hybrid role with relocation assistance within the US/PR. The role focuses on leading mechanical and electrical testing for the Power Components Division, designing and improving test equipment, and guiding tester development for new product launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Five years of experience designing, building, and operating production test equipment and software testing.
• Experience with statistical quality tools (capability studies, gage R&Rs).
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
• BS in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Six Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt certification (preferred).
• Experience with new product development and industrialization (preferred).
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and project management (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical and electrical testing development for the Power Components Division.
• Design and improve test equipment and capabilities with a global team.
• Lead tester development for new product introduction projects.
• Write test specifications and provide troubleshooting support for test equipment.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure equipment meets requirements and timelines.
