Job summary

SharkNinja, Needham, MA, seeks a Manager of Embedded Firmware Delivery to lead the US embedded firmware team. You will own day‑to‑day delivery, review code, and unblock the team while aligning with architecture and platform standards.

You will collaborate with hardware, software, and cloud teams to ensure seamless firmware integration, scheduling, quality, and feature delivery. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring strong technical depth.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of embedded software and firmware engineering.
• 2+ years leading embedded engineering teams.
• Hands‑on delivery of production firmware for consumer electronics/home appliances/robotics.
• Track record establishing CI/CD, static analysis, and automated test infrastructure for embedded programs.
• Coordinating with offshore or external development partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire, and develop the delivery-focused Senior Embedded Firmware Developers within the US embedded firmware team.
• Delivery commitments for internally developed embedded firmware — schedule, quality, and scope.
• Code review, day-to-day technical direction, and design guidance for the team, with hands‑on depth to make credible technical calls.
• Workload allocation, sprint planning, and capacity across concurrent programs.
• Deliver firmware in device control, OTA, and differentiated product features.
• Enforce engineering standards — feature branches, PR gates, unit tests, static analysis on merges.
