Job summary

SharkNinja in Needham, MA is seeking a Manager, Engineering - R&D to lead a focused engineering team through the complete product development lifecycle, from first principles to production hardware. You’ll mentor engineers, own end-to-end designs, and coordinate with global Product Development teams in the UK and China.

This in-person role requires strong mechanical fundamentals, hands-on fabrication experience, and a passion for delivering robust, cost-efficient consumer solutions.

Qualifications

• Lead, hire, and develop a team of engineers across design studies, CAD execution, prototyping and design verification.
• Own designs end-to-end: drive fast iteration, apply sound engineering judgment, and maintain quality, cost and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with Product Development teams in the UK and China, and with cross-functional partners to ship ideas.

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire, and develop a team of engineers across design studies, CAD execution, prototyping, and design verification
• Own designs end-to-end: drive fast iteration, apply sound engineering judgment, and hold the bar on quality, cost, and manufacturability
• Continuously optimize designs for DFM, materials, cost efficiency, and consumer value
