Job summary

SharkNinja is seeking a Director of Embedded Firmware to lead architecture and delivery for our global product portfolio. This senior role oversees the US firmware organization, defines interfaces, HAL/API standards, and ensures high-quality, scalable firmware across devices.

You will partner with hardware engineering, cloud teams, and ODM/JDM partners to deliver integrated solutions, establish gating, and drive CI/CD and test automation for embedded systems at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, CS, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 12+ years embedded software/firmware experience.
• 5+ years leading engineering teams.
• Experience with ODM/JDM partners and outsourced development.

Responsibilities

• Own firmware architecture, HAL/API standards across product categories.
• Lead US embedded firmware organization and delivery across the portfolio.
• Ensure firmware integrates with hardware, cloud, mobile apps, and UI.
• Define design reviews and gating checkpoints with partners.
