PQShield in Texas is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive the software lifecycle, architect complex cryptographic IP, and grow a high-performing team. You will lead design reviews, coordinate cross-team work, and ensure rigorous verification and quality across embedded software blocks.

You will mentor engineers, shape strategy, and partner with hardware and vulnerability teams to deliver robust security software solutions. Remote/hybrid options may be available.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of software design/verification experience.
• Expert level C in embedded environments.
• Experience building software IP blocks from scratch.
• Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, protocols, and key management.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and allocate work with engineering leaders to deliver the product roadmap.
• Lead technical design and coordinate IP design from conception to customer delivery.
• Line manage a software engineering team: hiring, onboarding, training, performance reviews.
• Ensure tooling and infrastructure supports the team and projects.
• Mentor colleagues and act as a software design authority across teams.
• Collaborate with verification engineers to review test plans and verifications.
• Define architectural solutions for complex algorithms and system-level design.
• Engage with other teams (hardware, vulnerability) and with customers during technical discussions.
• Maintain lint standards and detailed implementation reports for IP blocks.
