Job summary

RI Council 94 seeks a Supervising Eligibility Technician to plan, supervise and review a team performing initial and continuing eligibility determinations for assistance programs. Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal and state eligibility rules for assistance programs.
• Experience conducting information-gathering interviews and collecting supporting documents.
• Ability to supervise a mixed staff of technical and clerical workers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, supervise and review the work of staff performing eligibility determinations.
• Conduct in-person interviews and assist applicants/recipients with applications and evidence.
• Prepare reports including simple statistics and data breakdowns.
