Job summary

TK Elevator in New Haven, CT is seeking an experienced Superintendent- Modernization to manage modernization projects and crews, ensuring timely and profitable completion and budget adherence.

The role focuses on directing field employees, maintaining safety standards, coordinating project schedules, and maintaining strong relationships with owners, consultants, and architects to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to present information to management and customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions and work with variables.

Responsibilities

• Supervises modernization field employees with direction and training.
• Administers safety program and conducts safety audits.
• Plans, directs, and prioritizes elevator modernization projects.
• Reviews job status using accounting reports to identify risk and opportunity.
• Manages jobsites from survey to completion and reviews progress with customers.
