You will collaborate with experienced engineers across disciplines to support safe, reliable integration of electrified systems across Caterpillar's product portfolio. This on-site role requires initiative and adaptability to adopt new technologies, improve procedures, and work across functions to meet customer and dealer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering curriculum or related field.
• Analytical thinking with ability to identify root causes and develop solutions.
• Strong communications skills to clearly convey concepts and needs.
• Experience with product testing approaches, techniques and tools.
• Ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing or development setting.

Responsibilities

• Create new designs and resolve issues in manufacturing or building sequences and ensure design acceptance and readiness.
• Adopt new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, CAM software) to improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance quality.
• Plan and improve engineering procedures and operations to increase reliability, efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with marketing, purchasing and manufacturing to meet customer and dealer requirements.
