Caterpillar Inc. in Mossville, IL is seeking an Electric Drive Development Senior Associate Engineer – Test/Validation to lead lab testing of advanced drivetrain components as part of new product development and CPI projects.

You will define validation requirements with cross-functional teams, prepare test articles, analyze data, and document findings in technical reports to support safer, higher quality electric drive systems and reduced operating costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accredited Engineering or Materials Science curriculum.
• Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Basic understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
• Analytical Thinking: Working knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
