IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time Electrician - Lead in Richmond, VA. The role requires strong leadership to direct crew activities and excellent ability to read electrical drawings and install control wiring.

The position emphasizes safety and adherence to company policies, with travel possible and no visa sponsorship offered. The candidate should have 4 years of commercial electrical field experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 4 years of recent commercial electrical field experience.
• Experience providing work direction to electricians, apprentices, or helpers.
• Ability to organize work, identify field issues, and communicate changes or concerns in a timely manner.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Performs all electrical tasks with general supervision.
• Leads and provides day-to-day work direction to electricians, apprentices, and helpers assigned to the crew.
• Reads and interprets construction electrical drawings, terminates cables, installs and troubleshoots control wiring from drawings.
• Plans and coordinates daily work activities based on project priorities and direction from field supervision.
• Monitors work in progress and reports variances in a timely manner.
• Completes other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Works from all types of ladders.
• Travels may be required.
