IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, a subsidiary of IES Holdings, Inc., is seeking a full-time Electrician in Richmond, VA. The role involves performing electrical tasks under general supervision and interpreting construction drawings to terminate cables and install control wiring.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, OSHA 10 (or ability to obtain), and US work authorization. Travel may be required, and applicants must pass pre-employment checks in line with company policy.

Qualifications

• 4 years of recent commercial electrical field experience.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 10 cert or ability to obtain it.
• Pass pre-employment background and MVR checks when operating vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical tasks with general supervision.
• Reads and interprets construction electrical drawings; terminates cables and installs control wiring.
• Monitors progress and reports variances promptly.
• Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Work from all types of ladders while ensuring safety.
• Adheres to company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travel may be required.
