Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time Electrical Helper in Richmond, VA to assist licensed electricians with conduit, wiring, and material handling. This role requires safety compliance and may involve travel. Visa sponsorship is not available.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of commercial electrical field experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and OSHA-10 or the ability to obtain it. A pre-employment background check and MVR check may be required.

Qualifications

• 2 years recent commercial electrical field experience.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.
• Successfully pass pre-employment background check and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assists commercial Electricians by performing various tasks and material handling.
• Mounts and installs assigned work conduit, wires, and strapping as directed.
• Assists in wire pulls and other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Works from all types of ladders.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travel may be required.
