Qualifications

• Minimum five years of electrical trade experience or equivalent.
• Prior teaching, training, or mentoring in a trade or educational setting is helpful.
• Completion of a recognized electrical trade program is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver classroom lessons and hands-on labs across courses, connecting theory to real-world work.
• Demonstrate electrical techniques, NEC compliance, safe work practices, and proper tool use.
• Prepare labs, maintain equipment, and enforce attendance and conduct policies.
• Evaluate student work, provide timely feedback, and support struggling students.
• Lead and mentor instructors, orient new staff, and coordinate class coverage and scheduling.
• Collaborate with the Program Director on course sequencing, materials, assessments, and improvements.
• Use online tools to organize courses, communicate with students, and maintain records.
• Support enrollment, retention, and job placement; participate in campus meetings and events.
• Substitute for instructors when schedules require it; oversee lab supplies and facility operations.
• Maintain current knowledge through professional development and industry engagement.
• Uphold FERPA and safety standards; protect student privacy and adhere to applicable regulations.
