Dorsey College is seeking an Electrical Technician Lead Instructor to deliver high-quality instruction across the Electrical Technician program. You will provide campus-level program oversight, curriculum support, and mentorship to instructors, ensuring student success and program excellence.

The role requires deep electrical trade knowledge, classroom leadership, and the ability to collaborate with the Academic Dean and Program Director to drive improvements. At-will employment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum five years of electrical trade experience.
• Broad knowledge across electrical technician subjects.
• Prior teaching or mentoring experience is helpful but not required.
• Completion of an electrical trade program is helpful but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver classroom lessons and hands-on labs across multiple course subjects and connect theory to real-world work.
• Demonstrate electrical techniques, troubleshooting, safe work practices, and NEC/code compliance.
• Prepare materials, maintain a safe lab, and manage equipment and attendance policies.
• Evaluate student work, provide timely feedback, and support at-risk students.
• Lead, mentor and develop full-time and adjunct instructors; coordinate class coverage.
