Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical power systems.
• Familiarity with IEEE standards and NERC regulations.
• Experience using electrical power system analysis tools (MATLAB, ETAP, EMTP-RV, PSCAD, ANSYS).
• Ability to manage multiple diverse projects and work with cross-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical power system design and analysis efforts, mentoring junior engineers.
• Engage with clients and multidisciplinary teams including management and operations.
• Perform AC/DC power system studies (load flow, short circuit, protective device coordination, transient stability).
• Evaluate system alternatives and conduct root-cause investigations for power system components.
• Ensure compliance with NERC, ISO, NRC regulations; oversee equipment procurement and testing.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and submittals for equipment design.
